Austin Grimm & Them Gold Souls

Austin Grimm is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for his authenticity, groove, and message of love. Formerly the frontman of acclaimed reggae-rock band Roots of a Rebellion (whose 2019 album Shapes of a Soul hit #1 on Billboard’s Reggae Chart), Grimm now returns to his folk roots with Garden of Youth, a solo debut that is as poetic as it is playful. His music reflects a deep belief in healing, harmony, and the power of words. Raised in the Midwest, inspired by island rhythms, and seasoned on national stages, Grimm’s storytelling bridges generations and genres alike.

Recently relocating back to his hometown of St. Louis, MO has brought a surge of synchronicities that has culminated in the forming of an all star band of STL’s finest musicians. Austin Grimm & Them Gold Souls is comprised of Drew Lance on drums and vocals, Mark Hochberg on bass and violin, Brian Kasmarzik on keys and vocals, and Troy Brenningmeyer on pedal steel, lap steel and guitar. The bands debut show at Joes Cafe sold out and was then well received in Nashville for Lightning 100’s “Nashville Sunday Night” at 3rd and Lindsley. Both shows celebrated the release of Grimm’s first vinyl record “Garden of Youth” and the band is moving full steam ahead into 2026.
